We booked this hotel for one night. The room was OK and fairly clean. It wasn't as nice as other places I've stayed but for the price it was adequate. The facilities like the pool and hot tub looked fine but we didn't get the chance to use them. I would probably come back to this place again. More

It is a trek outside of town but we never had much trouble finding a place to park, considering that Lake Placid was swarming with tourists. The Econo Lodge was a great value. Breakfast buffet needs some type of protien. It offers donuts, english muffins, two kinds of cereal and oatmeal. The indoor pool and hot tub was great! Spent 2 nites with my wife. Horrible service, Squeeky door, asked guy @ desk for some lubricant, was told maintenance will be there shortly. 2 days later, nobody. Internet??? Not even a public computer. 2 Pools, no, 1 indoor & DIRTY! HBO in rooms, not true. Advice? For $99.00 a nite, keep driving! More
