Didn't even get to stay here yet....very bad communication between reservation global number and the actual hotel. Hotel policies aren't clear and are not updated, watch your credit cards. Hotel front desk was extremely rude, when asked questions and was hanged up on when asking questions. Big 0 for me on this hotel.

Unlike many Best Westerns this one is a few minutes walk to town. Staff all helpful. Room fine and they assure me that mattresses are the next item to be replaced - the one we had wasn't uncomfortable, but the springs were noisy and in need of replacement. If you're in Lake Placid this is a convenient place to stay.

Soccer team teenage girls running up and down hallways and stairs. Not soundproof baby crying next door. Breakfast OK for continental breakfast, attendant vey polite and helpful. Not a place we will come back to.

I've stayed here twice, once in the fall and once during ski season. It is a nice hotel and the location is perfect for walking almost everywhere in town. My family stayed over Winter Break and found this place to be quite interesting. The rooms were clean and big. The furniture however was mismatched and tired.
