The hotel fits the area well, very outdoorsy looking. The employees were very pleasant. The rooms very nicely laid out and decorated. Also very roomy. Our rate was very reasonable because we paid in advance. The hotel is about a mile from downtown, so it's a short drive to the activities.

Although the hotel had construction going on, the room was spacious and quiet. Very reasonably priced. Did not have the opportunity to use any of the amenities. The young girl at the front desk suggested the walk around the lake and it was so refreshing. Approximately 2.5 miles.

This hotel is so beautiful; very classy and I highly recommend. Perfect little get away! I will be back again. Probably the best hotel in placid . The dancing bear restaurant not too far was cute and lots of places to go snow tubing!!
