This has been one of the most surprisingly pleasant stays I have ever been. I wish I could stay longer, but my time was limited. I would invite my friends and family for my next winter trip. Ignore the negative reviews.

Not impressed-- arranged to stay at the hostel and the owner said he'd be away when we arrived, but would leave a key for us. We arrived after a long day of travel, and there was no key-- took 2.5 hours for a key to show up.

I've stayed here before and will continue to do so. For $30, you get a clean bunk, sheet, pillow, blanket & shower. The commons area has plenty of books and magazines, a piano and guitar. In the morning I've had some tea with the owners and offered some breakfast (John is a great bread baker).
