The hotel has an very good location at Historic Quarter, where you can walk at night easily. The staff was very helpful and professional. The hotel has different rooms, arranged with detail and elegance. It has a superb terrace where you can take a drink looking at churches domes and have sunbaths. Very good room service, quality and fair price.... More

We just returned from a 3 night stay at this lovely Boutique Hotel. It was a private Hacienda until three years ago, when it was converted to a small modern hotel. We were with friends, so we had 4 rooms total and all of them were beautifully decorated and the service was fabulous. The food was wonderful and breakfast was... More

My wife and I stayed here after a four night stay in San Miguel de Allende. We had never visited the Centro of Querétaro before and had an early departure from QRO. Casona de la República reminded me of an Indian haveli hotel with an inner courtyard with rooms up and away from that. The place was clean, quiet and... More

The Casona de la Republica is a delightful small hotel, remodeled from a 19th century mansion, only two blocks from the Jardin Zenea and four blocks from the Plaza de Armas. It is very close to most of major museums and churches in the beautiful historic center of Querétoro. Except for the occasional church bells in the morning, the hotel... More

Master suite 1821 in fotos... We loved everything in this place.. Just book your reservation and go. Trust me. Ask for the jacuzzi on the rooftop terraza. Why is this place listed under B&Bs??! Beautifully decorated 5 plus boutique hotel that rivals places twice the price...

Spent three days in Queretaro on business and stayed at this more or less new hotel. The place is really wonderful with great patios and a sensational terrace overlooking the historic downtown. The rooms very comfortable with all the modern amenities without sacrificing the classic colonial feel. The restaurant with great food and wonderful service and the location just perfect.... More

The remodeled old house is beautiful with modern furnishings and great location with in the old city. Easy walking to all mayor attractions. They even have complimentary bikes if you want to ride around. To bad service was not up to parr. They have the personnel but they just don't know how to approach the customer. Two things I had... Beautifully renovated boutique hôtel in the heart of Queretaro Mexico. Each room is unique and decorated with local art and furnishings. The inner courtyard is shaded with orange trees. During our visit, the trees were loaded with ripe oranges; we were encouraged to pick and enjoy. The rooftop garden offers beautiful views of downtown Queretaro.

A very nice hotel but pricey for what you get. The no children policy was a real plus for us!!! Very nicely decorated but there were many other hotels at a much more reasonable price.

We live in Mexico City and have visited Queretaro (220km north of Mexico City) many times. This was our first visit to this hotel.
