I had a few excellent days in Nkwali Camp. I felt very welcome and really enjoyed my stay here. Seen a lot of game, and got a lot of information about the wildlife from the very knowledgeable guides. The food was great. It was very nice to eat with the staff and get to know more about the camp and... More

Very comfortable chalets which are completely open to the river during daytime. Exceptional service. Wendy was a very good hostess and the team are most attentive. Fantastic food - creative, healthy, local. Good wine. Very nice to have the guides join us for meals. The best game rangers I have ever come across - thanks especially to Kanga and Julius,... More

Ending our trip in Luangwa here allowed us the view 3 of Robin's camps in close sequence finding each had a different feel and experience accentuated by both the environment & nature of the camp and staff. The rooms at Nkwali were wonderful being fully open to the river, eating was undertaken on a dias away from the river with... More

The Luangwa Valley is not necessarily the easiest place to take 3 young children (6-10 years) - but Robin's House at Nkwali is a great option. It is separate from the main lodge and you have your own dedicated guide/driver and vehicle so your timetable is at your own discretion. There is a small plunge pool as well far enough... More

My husband and I just returned from 4 nights at the breathtakingly beautiful Nkwali Camp and I highly recommend this camp, and the overall experience - it was spectacular. We travel often in Africa and have stayed at numerous camps, but there is something incredibly magical about Nkwali. The Camp is so restful and comfortable and the staff there are... More

Loved this place. Great setting on the river -- really loud with hippos and bugs and baboons but that's what you go there for, right? Staff was top notch and safari guides were excellent. Food was really really good -- especially the baked goods. Really enjoyed the experience. Must report that we did have a burglar during our visit. Supposedly... More

What a wonderful experience. The accomodations were excellent, the food beyond that. The staff however are what makes this visit so memorable. Everyone took such care that we were satisfied with our experience. An elephant adds so much to one's dining experience. Terrific place. Steve and Charlee Gumbiner

We stayed here for a couple of nights before doing a walking safari and it was a delight. At night the elephants wonder around eating the fruit that have fallen off the trees while hippos come in to graze on the grass. Kiki the Camp Manager was our guide and could not have been more helpful and even met us... More
