We had a lovely time Christmas week at Adagio House, the sister property to Whispering Pines on the same quiet country lane. The house is conveniently located to High Falls and Stone Ridge with some very nice lifestyle shopping, a large (for the area) supermarket, and bank within a short driving distance. The drive to New Paltz is a little... More

Perfect for a group or big family! The house is so clean. The decor is amazing and modern, but still comfortable. We stayed the weekend of October 19-21 2012 for a wedding. Our weekend went so quick I was sad we didn't get to spend more time in the house. We live in Georgia, but if we are ever able... More

Celia is so friendly. From the quiet of the surrounding woods to the fantastic omelet for breakfast... we had a wonderful time. We are sure to visit the starlight room again! Thank you for making sure we enjoyed our stay!

Nice welcome. very quiet in the woods. Convenient to New Paltz for dinner and the mohonk area. The grounds seemed a bit neglected.

Ok, so after 8 years having consistently stayed at this Bed & Breakfast, we've decided to give it a quick review based on what we've experienced during our stay. My initial impression -- where the heck are we? I'm a typical city gal with no survival skills when it comes to life in the woods. Upon arrival, we're welcome by... More

Our family stayed at the Adagio house for a wedding that was being held close by at another BnB. It was fabulous. We had plenty of room to work on things for the wedding, (i.e. cake and flowers) space was just perfect. The house was open and airy and with the fully equipped kitchen, deck for lounging & work, the... More

My partner and I had an incredible time. Celia is a wonderful cook and the breakfasts (omelots and french toast) were wonderful. There was also fruit, cereal and danish to choose from. Celia and her family were great hosts. The house is very secluded - in the middle of no-where, which was exactly what we wanted. The outdoor jacuzzi in... More

We had a reservation to stay in the beautiful Adagio House on a holiday weekend. When our plans changed due to an unavoidable personal matter two weeks before, the owners were very understanding and allowed us to cancel our reservation even though their policy is a 21-day notice for holidays. We are very grateful. We wish you continued success with... More

My partner and I just returned home from a 6-night stay here and were sad to have to leave. Celia was a gracious host (we didn't get to meet her husband). The room and adjoining bathroom were spacious and comfortable as was the back deck where I ate breakfast several mornings while my partner slept late. Another plus was that... More

I've been meaning to review this wonderful b&b since the summer. I was pregnant then and visiting with my husband and in-laws who were visiting from London. HD and Celia were absolutely wonderful, they really made us feel like family and at the same time they were totally un-intrusive. They provided us with lovely accommodations, great advice and discounts to... More
