We stay at Hammondsport Motel every year because we like the old-fashioned, spacious rooms and the lake view. (Units 1 through 8 have the view.) For a lakeside motel, this is a very good value.

At first glance this little place looks like a great run "Mom and Pops" kind of place. Not so. I wish someone would give my sister (lisa) her money back! She deserves it! All she wanted was a good honeymoon and the Hammondsport Motel ruined that!!!!! Wet sheets, rude staff, and a musty room, along with a piece of crap matress do NOT make a good combination. Come on, that is not service, it's a hell hole!!!!
