Lovely olde world hotel. Very comfy. Only criticism is that bar staff are so sad and bored looking. When you order, you feel like you are interrupting them. Long sad faces! Very abrupt! If you work in a service industry, please act like you actually like serving people.

I had a room upstairs with a balcony opening out onto the river. The room was very comfortable and I loved the quirks of the hotel, such as slightly uneven floors (given the age of the building this is more than acceptable!). We ate in the restaurant downstairs and the food and service were both excellent! Would recommend!

Nice room, nice pub, OK food, excellent location if you want to stay in Staines! Not many rooms, so if they are full the Anne Bowlyn hotel is just across the road. If you want a quick brekkie, make sure they know. Otherwise it might be a bit languid. Unfortunately parking is a bit of a lottery.

I was down on business, and went to the swan for an evening meal. I ordered a Burger and Chips, and then Sticky Toffee Pudding on the first night, the service was nice and friendly and I enjoyed the food, especially the dessert!! Would recommend!

My wife and I visited for one night on our way to stay in Sussex. Room was immaculate. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant with excellent service. Breakfast was wonderful - great sausages! Can definitely recommend as a place to stay.
