The Blue Iris is absolutely beautiful. Our entire experience was one that won't be forgotten. The house and the grounds are immaculate and you'll often find yourself in awe of it all. The rooms are cute, with a decorating job that gives it almost an old-world field. a very nice touch with the fireplace. Our hosts Lorry and Jerry were... More

Immaculate both inside and out. The Blue Iris is a quite getaway featuring two exquisitely landscaped acres, expansive rocking chair porch, rooms decorated with attention to detail, fireplace and private bath with jacuzzi in each room, and a scrumptious breakfast made with fresh eggs from the hen house. The innkeepers, Lorry and Jerry, were welcoming and friendly from the very... More

Our first experience staying at a B&B and it was wonderful. The house and grounds are magnificent! Rooms were beautifully decorated and kept immaculately. Our hosts Lorry and Jerry went out of their way to tend to every detail and possible need. The food was delicious and their warm and friendly conversation made us feel very much at home. The... More

Our experience at Blue Iris Bed and Breakfast was fantastic from start to finish! My husband booked our room online and was immediately impressed with the prompt email responses to confirm and ask us for details about anything we might need or special requests. The home is absolutely beautiful - inside and out. Upon driving up and walking to the... More

First off, I do not know how your rankings are calculated, but they seem to be way off. If they were done correctly, this has to come in Pre-#1!!!! Every part of the experience was beyond extraordinary!!!! They go from the convivial, entertaining, and excellent hosts--I mean chilled champagne and two champagne flutes awaiting us in our exquisitely decorated en... More

Sublime! That one word says it all. Our experience here was simply sublime. Our hosts, Jerry and Lorry, could not have made us feel more welcome. The house and grounds are magnificent, the room spacious and so well appointed. You will not find a more immaculate B&B anywhere, and that comes from two seasoned world travelers who stay only at... Blue Iris was our home base during our North Fork weekend getaway for the wife’s birthday. I mentioned the special occasion when I booked the room, and Lorry graciously had a really nice bottle of chardonnay ready for us from Sherwood House. Sipping the wine as we walked into the open lawn of the beautifully designed backyard was the perfect... More

I had booked the Blue Iris for a weekend getaway for my husbands birthday. I was truly impressed with the inn and its impeccable grounds. There was a special attention given to all detail for all guests from a welcome board with our names to a hand written and signed champagne bottle from the Blue Iris Inn. They had the... More

We just spent an enchanting weekend at the Blue Iris. It is everything you would want in a B & B . Unfortunately the owners were not there but they provided everything for us. Two gift certificates for breakfast at nearby places, and a wonderful friendly hostess. We do intend to go back for the whole experience.
