We stayed at this lovely bed and breakfast on our visit to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown NY, which is located 45 min, driving from this B&B. The interior decoration of this bed and breakfast is straight out of Architectural Digest. Every square inch is meticulously decorated while still feeling like home. The proprietors Bob and Dianna are... More

We visited Notleymere Cottage when we took our son to visit Colgate. The owners running the inn were so nice and inviting. The breakfast in the morning was very tasty and more than enough to eat. Our room was beautiful as well as the grounds. I would definately recommend this inn when visiting the Syracuse area.

I decided to write this review after reading some other reviews and realized I was not overeacting to our initial welcome! I am not quite sure how I feel about our stay here. We arrived on a very hot summer day and we were surprised to find that our third floor Teddy Roosevelt suite was what felt like 100 degrees.... More

We have visited the Notleymere Cottage on several occassions and were very favorably impressed with this B&B. The setting is charming, unique and interesting, the hosts are attentive without being intrusive and we would return in a heartbeat when visiting nearby Colgate University where I received my degree (more than a few) years ago.

We stayed at Notleymere during the Easter holiday while visiting family in Cazenovia. We had a wonderful experience. The owners have been running the inn for years and they provide an extremely relaxing atmosphere in a lovely, upscale manner house overlooking the lake. We had two rooms, one for us and one for our teenage sons. We stayed in the... More

I enjoyed the unique furnishings and comfortable accomodations. Beautiful lake and village. Nice breakfast was served on back porch overlooking the lake.

Our family spent close to $4,000 for a weekend here, and the owners did everything they could to make us feel like intruders in their home. We were told we could store beverages in the refrigerator, but whenever we tried going into the kitchen to get them, the wife just glared at us like we had no right to be... More

First the good points. This house is a beautiful mansion in a quaint village, and the beds are comfortable. Now for the bad points. The owners have a dream of living (by themselves) in a mansion, and they tolerate guests only as a means to that end. Simple items such as tissue boxes, bottled water, and even wastebaskets were nowhere... More

This is an impeccably restored and wonderfully run B&B where we stayed this week while attending a convention in Verona - it was well worth the 45 minute drive each way from the abysmal Turning Stone "resort" and casino. Notleymere's owners, Bob and Diana, are incredibly gracious hosts, knowledgeable and helpful, and gave us great tips on what to see... More
