I was at the Sagamore for two nights for business meetings. The food was decent and the view magnificent. The room was fairly clean (i had one of the suites), but i found a hair (not mine) in the bed and the sheets were not changed from day one to day two. I'm ok with not changing the sheets everyday,... The Sagamore has for 30 years been where we go for mother's day brunch. In the Trillium this used to be a great place to take mom. What the heck were you thinking taking this event to a conference hall, off the lake, with absolutely no ambiance? Who goes all the way out to Bolton Landing to sit in a... More

I only stay here when I have a business conference. Yes, the grounds are pretty. On site restraunt food is excellent, but it should be when breakfast with tip is almost 50.00, and no I didn't have the lobster and eggs. To get to the conference building there is a covered walk way, however, the sidewalk is full of many... More

I'd had fond memories of this hotel as child, but it's clear that the new management is not keeping up old standards. Examples: Our room had a carpet with several huge bubbles in it that we tripped over each time we walked around. The hotel claims several restaurants, but really only one is open. We ate dinner there and the... More

I am fortunate to stay at the Sagamore each year while my husband attends a conference. So, the fact that my vacation is "free" for all intents and purposes, makes the Sagamore a dream! However, if I were paying, I'd have some problems with the value. The location and general ambiance is off the charts. Ten stars. On a sunny... More

Came here based on some Internet research. Came to find out several friends had been here and loved it. Great overall experience. Weather, views, lake, pools, spas, gym, food very good. Great little town in Bolton Landing to walk around and get that Summer night ice cream. Great little local diners to beat the somewhat expensive resort options. Head down... More

Was at the Sagamore early April for a conference. It was purportedly the first weekend the hotel was open for the season and they did a great job. The site is beautiful and the conference facility is a good place for conferences on the smallish size (ours was about 100 people, and there was another one happening simultaneously that was... More

This is best choice in the lake george area. Its no four seasons but is clean, charming with old world charm. The rooms are not fancy but spacious. Dont bother with paying for a view as the windows are so small you really dont much.

this hotel advertises packages such as their "family vacation packages." pay 3 nights get a 4th night free for sunday and monday night arrivals in july and august. starting early march, despite plenty of availability, they kept saying they package is not availabilible. I went thru every sunday and monday night the entire summer and I think it was available... More

Historical hotel right by the Lake George. We were expecting more out of this hotel and we were somewhat disappointed. The suite that we've got was okay, the furniture was old and not very comfortable. The first suite we've got had AC problem, after trying to fix it for 3 hours, they moved us to another suite which had a... More
