It's a small hotel, inexpensive, and just fine for an overnight along the road. How high are expectations for $55? The gentleman at the front desk was very polite, helpful. At under $60 a night (Sat. & Sun.) during peak leaf-peeping season, this hotel was great, considering others were charging over $80 for less. I just recently stayed here at the Budget Inn in Bath NY. It is a nice small hotel and is very calm place. The service was great and the rooms are very nice.
