The Lodge is a great old building located an easy drive out of the center of town in a rural neighborhood. It's quiet and the grounds are comfortable and shady. Like most historic buildings it will always need a little this and that, but it's clean and cared for. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. If I... More

From a prayer path to a labyrinth San Geronimo offers solitude or group space for renewal. The staff is very attentive, the buildings and grounds are well attended to, there are many cozy spaces in which to relax. The decor is Taos personified. Art and artifacts give the inn a homey feeling. It would be a great place for a... More

My boyfriend and I just took an impromptu weekend trip to Taos and found the San Geronimo Lodge online. It was a little pricer than other places in town, but we felt like we got more for our money. We were looking for something quaint and relaxing, which we definitely found here! The outdoor (year-round) hot tub, deck overlooking the... More

I stayed at the San Geronimo Lodge for 2 nights in March 2012 on a girls' road trip through New Mexico. The hotel is on the edge of town, and feels very remote. There is an empty field next door that is full of prairie dogs, which was fun. The room was comfortable and clean, and the people running it... More

It's quiet and calm with a "stream" (irrigation ditch, really) running alongside. Love the fireplaces, the views, the ambiance of the building, friendly dogs, and a relaxed, laid back atmosphere. If you're into upscale and new - forget it, but if you like the things I like (and music with your excellent breakfast, too), you'll be quite happy here.

This Bed & Breakfast lodge is tucked away at the edge of town in a nice area. Plenty of parking. This was a "girl trip" and our room ( #16) had three beds - which sold us on the location. This room was up an outside flight of stairs which could be a problem for some - especially with heavy... More

We spent Friday evening, all day Saturday, and 1/2 a day Sunday at this fabulous B&B at a retreat. They provided all the meals while we were there. The food and the service was outstanding. The rooms were beautiful. The surrounding landscapes were breathtaking. Taos is beautiful.

We cannot begin to say how much we enjoyed our stay at San Geronimo. The front desk clerk was super helpful in helping us select a place to eat dinner (Orlando's) and suggested local sights to take in. The room was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was AWESOME!!! We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My husband surprised me with an anniversary trip to Taos and Santa Fe. We have stayed in Taos before at the Sagebrush Inn several times. So I was surprised to arrive in Taos driving on a dirt road wondering where are we staying? He pulled up to the San Geronimo Lodge. Our key was left on the front desk for... More

Wonderful staff, large open comfortable commons, good location (quiet). Would also be a terrific place for larger group, family stays. Staff also very knowledgeable about what to do and see in the area.
