A $100. charge was put on my credit card and have been trying for 4 days to get it off. The girl when we checked in was rude. No remote for tv and only 1 blanket for 3 beds.Would not stay there again.

I am sure it is a product of it owns sucess, but not a lot of money reinvested back into the hotel. We booked two nights and left after one becuase it was dirty and old. The second star is that they do accept pets. I appreciate that but not enough to stay there again.

Pleasently surprised after some of the recent scathing reviews and based my stay on the overall aggregate over time. The place is older and dated in both motif and furnishings but for an outdoor town like Red River it was nice to have a bit of rustic instead the run of the meal franchise style hotel. Rooms have a lot... More

We made reservations in error for two nights. Upon arriving, we couldn't believe what we encountered. The couch was so nasty we didn't want to sit on it. The bed didn't look much better. We decided that we were there for only two nights and would survive. We stayed outside as long as we could and when we were getting... More

The Lazy Miner Lodge is under new ownership and I have to admit that I would not have enjoyed staying in the lodge prior to our purchase. Since we have purchased the lodge the first thing we did is make sure everything was working properly and the rooms were extra, extra clean! Now we have started the process of renovating... More

I wouldn't begin to have enough space to write everything that was so disgusting with our stay. Paid for two nights in advanced, couldn't bring myself to spend more then one night there. Was relieved to lose my money for the second night just so I would not be tortured to spend another second there. Travel alot and never been... More

We reserved a room for 2 night stay,The hotel was dirty, screens busted out, therefor if you opened your window for air, because there was no air conditioning you will be sleeping with bugs biting you all night long, and that is the least of their problems. Our bed spread had blood spots on it,when they tried to offer another room the bed... More

What a wonderful surprise we found here. Spent Memorial Day weekend 2012 here. I've stayed in hotels all across the US and Canada but in my opinion, the Lazy Miner Lodge is up there with the best of them. We were treated just like family by a real down home management couple. Yeah, there's no pool or hot tub. No... More

We loved staying at the Lazy Miner Lodge. The owners were friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location is convenient to restaurants. We'll definitely stay here again!

This was my third time to stay at Lazy Miner Lodge over the last 9 years, and the place has never changed. It is small and family owned and operated. The lodge is definiltely older and could use a few updates, but it is a great little place for a bunch of ski bums who plan to hit the slopes.... More

We decided to stay at the Lazy Miner because they accepted pets (kudos for that) but quickly realized the error of our ways. First, if you're going to be there during the winter bring a pen and paper when you check in because you're going to need to take notes on some rather complicated instructions on the proper and improper...
