We spent 5 days at this resort with a group of friends. There are two choices. One is to stay in the main building and the other is to stay in one of the duplex cottages that slope down to the beach (about $50/night upgrade but well worth it). The cottages were very comfortable with two double beds and big... More

We stayed in this hotel during Vietnamese New year ( 7 Feb- 13 Feb). Our group ( 4 families ) are quite happy with excellent and very friendly services, especially warm-welcome atmosphere(attitude) of all staff during Tet Holidays. A small surprise new year party was organized with lucky money and secret prizes for staff and guests during new year EVE... More

When booking this hotel make sure your room number begins with 400. The lower numbers are in the main block which is a NIGHTMARE! Gulag is a good description. We were moved after first night to a bungalow 442 in the garden close to pool. As previous reviewers state, they are spacious and quite quiet unless you get a heavy... More

Not a place we'd recommend you stay!!! The bungalows are nice enough, as long as you don't mind sharing them with trails of ants, cockroaches and geckos. - I liked the gecko, I have to admit. At least they eat insects, though I think there were too many for it to eat... Unfortunately breakfast is a disaster. The choice of... More

This a 3 stars establishment. The location is great, directly on the beach, 20 minutes walk to the small town, next to restaurants. The beach is clean, the water is very warm. You will not be botherred by sellers of all kinds, there is a security guard just for that. Our graden bungalow was spacious with one double bed and... More

Still staying in this old and tired looking place, I just wish my day is over soon so I could get out ASAP. Booked through Agoda so I can't get my money back. Room is smelly when you enter, leaking AC and weird style of the room. Do not waste your money

This hotel is very tired, and my wife likened it to the hotel in The Shining. Positives... The bedrooms are spacious. Housekeeping is efficient and overall cleanliness is good. The staff were very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very good. It is close to local shops and restaurants. The pool is very good and the gardens well kept. The sunset... More

Thien Hai Son you might say has seen better days, but on reflection I think the best days were probably the days when Soviet era style 'party comrades' were checking in for a regional junket just after the paint had dried, and the red ribbon was cut. There it is, I've just described the concrete white washed monolith which constitutes... More

I strongly do NOT recommend this hotel. We stayed there for one week in the end of November '2012. At first we were impressed with the hotel facilities and the service quality. We got breakfast of the same quality like in 4-5* hotels. We enjoyed a clean private beach (small but still much better, than narrow ones of the other... More

Book our room for 7days but end up staying only for 1night with no refund, but we rather give them the money than staying. They don't allow your friends to go near the room, must leave the hotel after 10pm and they will just sit there watching and see when your friend are actually leaving, I never see something like...
