We camped here for one night - the pitches are good and the showers very hot and clean. There's a lovely little kitchen unit as well where you can cook on the hob or wash dishes. The night game drive was good fun, although if you have your own vehicles I would recommend driving round the park yourself too. A... More

When we decided to spend three days at Addo, it was either stayed outside the park at a regular prices, or staying right were we wanted to be and paying somewhat extra. We chose the latter and didn't regret it. The camp is nicely set up, offering good game drives and a relaxing atmosphere. At night you hear the jackals,... More

We stayed in a chalet - good National Park accommodation, comfortable and spacious. Kitchen facilities were very good and inside (unlike Kruger). Facilities beginning to look a bit old, but still serviceable. Cleaning standard good. Chalets are away from the waterhole, so don't expect a view. (The rondavels have the view, but communal kitchen facilities). We didn't use the restaurant,... More

Stayed one night in Harpoor at the Main Camp. The accommodation was excellent. Really spacious with great facilities including a large TV which was great for the kids after our game drive. We had planned to eat ta the restaurant in the evening but our experience at lunch was poor. We were the only ones eating and there was 4... More

We stayed two nights in a cottage in the Addo NP Rest camp We enjoyed our stay in the Cottage and in the camp. the Cottage was clean and comfortable with a nice veranda. There are a great variety of tv channels (we had one day with heavy rain). The Lady who cleaned or Cottage was very friendly and helped... More

Talk about a room with a view. In fact we had a rondavel, with a view of the water hole and a short walk from the restaurant. Thisa was our second visit to the park, and didn't disappoint. There's a wide range of accommodation, from luxury tents to appartments, but the main attraction has to be the elephants. We spent... More

We stayed in two of the Forrest Cabins, where we last stayed about four years ago. We knew what to expect but noted that the furnishings and equipment were well worn. At some time in the not too distant future, SANparks need to undertake a refurbishment project. For example, the shower cubicle's doors (on both cabins) didn't fit properly, resulting... More

We stayed in one of the chalets during a brief safari trip to Addo. The chalet was comfortable and clean, and the food in the restaurant was fine. The shop in the main building has everything from wine and beer to souvenirs, and lots of groceries. This is the perfect place to stay when visiting the park. One piece of... More

Accommodation was simple but clean with a BBQ at each cottage plus fridge, shower, TV etc. The site shop was very useful for buying food, drinks, BBQ equipment etc. There is also a petrol station on site. Really enjoyed the viewing area. We watched an Elephant giving birth over several hours right outside the camp. Real nature. if you need... More

The cottage we stayed in was fine- basic but exactly what was expected and was perfectly clean. There was a huge spider in the bathroom which bothered me, but this will happen in this area of South Africa! We had a lovely braai and watched the most beautiful sunset, and had a great morning game drive, until I came down... More
