Just spent a week at The Grand Hotel with a photography school and the experience wast just wonderful. The hotel staff was very accomodating and lovely. Our food at the hotel was perfect and the rooms were very clean. Certainly look forward to returning!

Nice presentation on website however upon arrival we drove around the block and in the parking lot looking for the area to check in. Finally locating the check in area the lobby looked quite nice. A welcoming helpful staff made the stay okay, despite a disapointing dining room menu...which included frozen veggies. The average rooms were kept very clean. I liked staying at anearby motel better since I didn't need the services a hotel offers and a nice even beachfront room could be had for less.

My friend and I saw an advertisement for a special weekend rate in March 2013 for Grand Hotel including one dinner and two buffet breakfasts at Hemmingway's, their restaurant. Just spent a beautiful weekend at The Grand Hotel in Cape May! This was my third time that I have stayed there. This hotel is very reasonable in rates and offers great packages. So glad I won this trip. Room was very clean. The view of the ocean was so peaceful. I would suggest screens for the patio doors so I could of left the door opened during the night. Attended a weekend gathering in April, room was adequate standard hotel type, There was a stale odor. An in the wall heat/air unit worked ok,took some of the mustiness away. Superficially cleaned daily--residual dust on surfaces.Dining seemed overpriced-good though. Location is great,right on the beach.Indoor pool available and clean.
