This victorian home is lovely and you cannot beat the location and on-site parking. My husband and I stay in the Parlor Suite and it is perfect for the two of us. Another PLUS for us is that it does NOT include a daily breakfast. We like this feature because we enjoy eating out at nearby local restaurants who offer... More

My family has stayed at the Columbia House in summer, Fall and Winter. It is beautifully decorated for each season. The owners. Laura and Jim, go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Any questions, they are quick to respond. We have stayed in the Parlor Suite and the Master Bedroom Suite. Both are beautiful in their own way.... More

I have been staying at the Columbia House for about 8 years now. My daughter and I come in October and stay in the Parlour Suite and in December I bring my grand daughters and stay in the garden suite. I have stayed in other places in Cape May but this is truly my favorite place of all. Laura and... More

This was our 3rd visit to Cape May and The Columbia House. We find this particular accommodation perfect for our needs. We like being extremely close to the action: the beach, shopping on Washington Mall, & the beautiful streets of Cape May. The Columbia House is smack in the middle of everything. Each time that we've visited this inn, we've... More

We rented the master suite for a week. What a wonderful accommodation and location! The house is a proper Victorian less than a block from the beach, and <10 minutes walk from the pedestrian mall in the center of town or pretty much anywhere else. The suite was beautiful and unique, just right for 6 of us (in 3 bedrooms).... More

This is our second vacation in Cape May in under a year (first one was in October, 2010). We chose Columbia House for its prime location, ambiance and their family friendly policy - we have a 5 year old child. We stayed in the Turret suite and loved the quaint Victorian charm. We were able to have breakfast on the... More

My wife and I decided to stay at The Columbia House for our first trip to Cape May, N.J. One of the reason's we did was because it was not an actual Bed & "Breakfast." We liked the idea that it would be a little more private and wouldn't have to be on a schedule in the morning. We were... More

My husband and two children and I were thrilled with our stay at the Columbia House. We stayed in the Turret Suite which was absolutely perfect. Cozy, comfortable, and clean. It was my children's first experience in a victorian home and they loved it! Really liked the master bathroom, the wifi, and wished it were warmer to enjoy the deck... More
