We had a dog friendly room with a king bed and a kitchenette. There are floors in these rooms no capert. Nice small pool outside that was warm even in October. I felt uncomfortable because the bed was way too soft and old. Furniture old and marked up. The walls were dingy as well as everything in the kitchenette. Pipes... More

A cheap hotel that's like a time-warp; a ride that leaves you feeling like you haven't showered in three days. I mean this in a good way, I think. Like the Vegas Stardust! My buddy and I had two room NON-DOG suite that boasted: two full beds, a separate Queen bedded room, a mini-fridge, a microwave and two tiny yet... More

The Bluefish is a good choice in Cape May if you want a decent value motel with good efficiency units. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the kitchen equipment is more than adequate. Our room had a minor problem with the kitchen drain, and the a/c unit was bit noisy, but these were minor issues. Pets welcome. More

The folks at the Blue Fish can't do enough for you ... whether it's helping start the BBQ grill, getting the room ready for a switch, or finding a wrench you can borrow. It's a family place and they treat you like family. Don't expect luxury and it's a hike to the beach and boardwalk. But if you get a... More

This was our first trip to Cape May and the Blue Fish Inn. Let me start by saying that the Inn is located a little off the beaten path….its approximately half a mile from the beach and a good mile (if not more) to the center of town. That being said, if you rent bikes, don’t mind driving or walking... More

This is a small, older motor lodge that has been upgraded a bit. There may be 12 or so rooms in this one-story motel, with a small pool, and outdoor shower. It's dog friendly. A very good deal for the price and the owners seem very motivated to keep you happy. It's a bit rundown in the rooms and the... More

I didn't really get to meet the all the people that run this place but the people that we did meet were very friendly and pleasant. The room was very clean. Carpet was as clean as they could get it but you could tell it was very old and stained. But rooms were cleaned and spotless. I am used to... More

My family and I just returned from a weekend at the Blue Fish Inn and can't say enough about what a perfect spot it was for us to get together -- with dogs included! The whole staff made us feel so welcome -- and the other guests were just as warm and friendly. The rooms are very clean, there's a... More
