“Soft bed and no breakfast”

The town is charming. The B&B proprietor was pre-occupied, barely hospitable, saw him at check-in briefly, room was fine though bed soft, no breakfast by 8:15 when we departed. Restaurant closed for between-season hiatus, though we had discussed having dinner there when we made reservation.

We stayed at Bale house Inn for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. The owner was so friendly and the place was so neat and quiet. Loved the town which had lot of antique shops and good restaurants. Dinner at Bale House Inn was also very good.

“Secret gem in Littleton”

As a local you know the good places. The Beal house is my go to place when I want to meet friends after work. The cocktails are excellent, appetizers and entrees great value. Bartender is super friendly and the copper-top bar and atmosphere beckoning. Really, one of our favorite places!
