We decided to stay cheaply for 1 night to offset the other more expensive nights we had planned. We arrived very late at night after quite a long journey. We would not have stayed had we arrived earlier. The bed was very uncomfortable and the electricity a bit dodgy! The bathroom had a very noisy extractor fan and we really... More

The woman with whom we communicated had quoated as a price of $375 but when we got there, after a 4&1/2 hour drive with 3 kids, she said it was going to be $625...she had quoated us the winter price but denied it! She said something like...even if I was extremely drunk I would not have made that mistake....hmmmmmm...and she... More

Room was old and worn. A/C so old it hardly worked and was very loud. Bed was awful. The bathroom was the worst as the floor under the vinyl was rotten. I was afraid the toliet was going to fall through the floor. More

We spent 2 nights , the property was very nice. The room was old and run down. Our AC was duct taped together along with the tv remote. The door knob fell off every time you opened the door. They lost our reservation and overbooked. The beds were just horrible, the springs stuck right through . If you don't have a... More

We found this lodge on the website listed under pet friendly lodging in the White Mountains. Our family of four plus our little dog found the 3 bedroom suite to be charming, clean, and comfortable as well as a great value for our week-long stay. Our unit also had a kitchenette equipped with all the necessary pots, pans and appliances... More

Very nice. Clean and very basic, old but well maintained. The "but" is that the rooms face the highway and if you are light sleeper, passing semis may disturb you. The cure: hike & enjoy the mountains till exhaustion! More

I try to get a weeks break at the Saco River Motorlodge in the winter and have done so for the last few years. I have always had a great stay and love the place. For starters the scenery in New Hampshire is stunning and if you go to Saco River Motorlodge during the winter months/early spring there is a... More

We only just stayed one night, but wished that we had been there longer. we stayed in one of the two bedroom suites. It must had been just remodeled everything was brand new. We travelled with another couple and we both had our own rooms, a living room and small kitchen. The locaction was not bad, only about 10 minutes... More
