We had a convention at the Riviera so we decided to stay there. We had a newer room in the Monaco Tower which was pretty nice. Small fridge, flat screen tv, wireless internet. The hotel and convention center need help. They want to promote their rat pack history but arent willing to invest in it - even to play music... More

There was hair in the sink when we got there. We had a renovated room and it was still disgusting. Flat screen TV and the comfy bed were the only two positive things. Worst smelling casino out of all of them. Location isn't great but it is on strip (Far North End). Casino itself was outdated, smelly, and quite ugly compared... More

I have visited most of the top buffets in Las Vegas, not only on the Strip, but surrounding neighborhood Hotel/Casinos as well. The buffet at the Riveria for $14.26 cents has to be the absolute worst food experience for the dollar that I have seen yet. In all of Las Vegas. I am being this hard in the review because... More

My husband and I received a free stay in the Riviera for going to a time share presentation. When we walked into the casino it was like being transported back into the 70s. The whole time we were there, there wasn't a single song played in the lobby or the casino that was made after 1979. And the people who... More

Okay, so I'm a bit spoiled. Normally in Vegas I stay at nice hotels. But, since my convention was at the Riviera I figured I'd just stay there rather than have to cab back and forth from another hotel. My room was in the original tower (built in the 50's) and felt like a Motel 6 with new tile. The... More

As new owners of the property we are changing literally ALL aspects of the property to improve the customer experience at the Riviera. Many of the areas you identified are being address simultaneously to improve the property as quickly as possible. This includes the removal of the Safe fee stickers. In room safes are included in the hotels resort fee.... More

This place is a JOKE! We had to change rooms 3 times after a long trip. Talking to 'management' everyday did nothing to resolve our problems. The last room we were in was so disgustingly filthy we didn't even want to stand in the tub to shower let alone sit in the whirlpool tub. The windows were grimy and our... More

Dont stay here. We stayed here for 2 nights at 24/ night. The heater was very loud and woke us up everytime it turned on. The casino smelt like crap, there was poor air ventilation and our clothes and hair stunk pretty bad of stale cigarettes for 2 days. The carpeting in the halls of the main floor were all... More

The hotel isn't one of the fanciest in Las Vegas but it is also not the most expensive . It's very convienant to the Las Vegas Convention Center and other hotels . Service is good and the restaurants are excellant More

I was surprised and happy with my room at this older hotel. I paid $14 per night, plus $11 per night for a "resort" fee (so $25 per night), and was not expecting much. To my suprise, I had a very confortable bed, a good sized flat screen TV, and a spotless room. I was in one of the upgraded... More
