This property has been nicely refurbished, very attractive lobby. However, our King room was VERY small, no place to set anything. The room was clean and had a very comfortable bed, nice king pillows and good quality linen, nice furnishings and decor and very quiet. Huge portable air conditioner taking up valued floor space, for such a tiny room, the... More

A lovely 3 night stay, centrally located to all the beautiful places in southwestern Montana. The old hotel is a delight, nice linens, towels etc. glass of champagne when you check in is a nice touch. Great staff, Only possible downsides...great restaurant but we didn't know it was only open we'd-sun. But that's ok, go to the willow creek cafe... More

Who would ever expect to find a first class property with an outstanding restaurant in the middle of western Montana. This hotel is worth the trip to Three Forks just for the experience. The 2010 restoration is absolutely stunning. Restored to its original beauty and dignity. The rooms were wonderful. Updated with individual bathrooms and temperature controls and new mattresses... I was on a road-trip and stopped in Three Forks out of sheer exhaustion. I pulled up at an empty-looking pub (if you really want advice when travelling, go find a local watering-hole. Bartenders don't have quite the same agenda as tourist information and they are always happy to help if you're polite!) and asked for the poshest hotel -... More

We spent three nights recently at this attractive hotel. Not quite tourist season, it wasn't full, so we enjoyed a really pleasant, quiet stay. They do provide ear plugs by the beds, so there may be times (like Friday karaoke night) when it isn't as restful. Bath towels are large, oversized bath sheets. Continental breakfast is delivered to your room... More

During a week-long visit to Bozeman, my husband and I decided to take a side trip to Three Forks with a night at the Sacajawea Hotel. We were so happy that we did. Our stay at the Sacajawea Hotel was truly wonderful. As others have mentioned, guests enter the charming lobby with the beautiful, long reception desk and are welcomed... More

I love old hotels and this certainly lived up to my expectations. The renovation is fabulous and the rooms are extremely well done with very high end touches. Our room was small but very comfortable and cozy. The public areas are very inviting and comfortable. Too cool to sit out on the porch, but look forward to that opportunity. Miss... More

Recently I had the opportunity to stay at The Sacajawea Hotel In Three Forks for business. Upon entering, I was welcomed warmly by a kind staff handed a warm scented hand towel and a glass of champagne. The Service and attention to detail speaks to a 5 star caliber establishment. The room was lovely and inviting. I will make a... More

I stayed at the Sacajawea Hotel on March 2. Without a doubt, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I have experienced in any class of hotel in over 50 years of hotel/motel use as a business or pleasure traveler. I had business in Townsend which is nearby and could easily have driven to my home in Butte in... More

We spent the Valentine's Day weekend at the Sacajawea...and the experience did not disappoint! The three-story Hotel was built in 1910 across the street from the Milwaukee Road depot... an original jumping off point from the rails to Yellowstone Park. The Hotel has been redone in the high style of its original architecture. Everything was top notch...ambiance, staff, service, comfort,... More
