After doing much research on Yellowstone and where to stay, I learned that the choices, as I expected, were fairly limited. I must say that I based our family decision to stay at Yellowstone Basin Inn strictly on traveler reviews from Tripadvisor. This was our first time to this area and I was very pleased and happy that we chose... More

A mere five miles from the North Entrance to Yellowstone National Park, the Yellowstone Basin Inn provides a convenient and quite comfortable place to stay while in the area. Offering all of the amenities of home, including wifi and tv (neither of which is available inside Yellowstone), hosts Greg and Sabina can offer tips for anything that your heart desires.... More

After a long day of touring YNP, Yellowstone Basin Inn was just what the doctored ordered! We reserved the Riverview Room. It was upstairs with a nice view and a skylight. Very comfortable bed! Greg goes out of his way to make sure you are familiar with the property and your room. Breakfast was delicious. Greg will help you plan... More

We have stayed in various places in and around Yellowstone and this is the best place we have ever stayed in the Mammoth/Gardiner area. It was very clean and had nice amenities - hairdryer, toiletries, refrigerator and microwave. After the hustle and bustle of the YNP it was quiet, peaceful and relaxing with a spectacular view of the mountains. It... More

We stayed three nights at the Yellowstone Basin Inn in the "Paradise Cabin" room number 8. The room was cleverly designed to make you feel as if you were staying in a log cabin. Tastefully done, the room was very comfortable, clean and roomy for the two of us. "Paradise Cabin" included a small kitchenette, which we put to good... More

My wife and I just returned from a two day trip to Yellowstone National Park. About 20 minutes from the north entrance to the park, near Gardiner, MT, is a great B&B. This is the first time we have stayed at the Yellowstone Basin Inn but it will not be our last. I really cannot think of any negative points... More

Thank you for your fantastic review of the Yellowstone Basin Inn. We really care about our guest experience. The only correction is that we are only 8 minutes (not 20) to the North entrance of Yellowstone National Park (we are 5 miles from the North entrance and you can drive 70 miles an hour, 4 of the 5 miles). Thanks... More

We stayed at the Yellowstone Basin Inn for three nights in the spring of 2013. It is a cozy, comfortable and quiet place, a few miles out of the tiny town of Gardiner MT (be aware that you do have to drive a bit to get to anything/anywhere), which is right next to the north entrance of Yellowstone and hence... Thank you for you review of the Yellowstone Basin Inn. We are glad you enjoyed our property. We work very hard to offer a cozy, comfortable, quiet and clean inn for our quests. All the suites have kitchens which have coffee makes. The rooms do not have coffee makers but they are available upon request. Thanks for the good review... More

After hours exploring the wonders of Yellowstone National Park, it was delightful to return to our spacious, bright, clean and quiet lodging. From our room we had glorious vistas and enjoyed watching elk and deer in the nearby fields. We appreciate the Inn's use of organic, sustainable foods and products. Special requests are met with eager cooperation.

The Yellowstone Basin Inn is close to town and close to Yellowstone with a beautiful view across the valley. The Paradise Cabin room had a rustic look but was modern and very clean. The little gas fireplace added a warm and cozy touch after some chilly April days in Yellowstone. We appreciated the kitchenette that was well supplied with dishes,... More
