We had a house guest for the weekend and drove out from W Glacier to the Izaak for their special brunch. The buffet selections were totally mismatched and overpriced. Mother's Day weekend was spectacular! The Inn is a wonderful place. It is a train lovers paradise. There are remodeled engines, box cars and cabooses you can rent for your stay. The rooms are small, quiet and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The views are wonderful from any place on the grounds.

What a piece of history. This place is a museum filled with Railroad Relics, prints of yesteryear and beautiful scenery in every direction. The train actually stops here from Chicago and from Seattle daily. I plan to ride the train over from Whitefish, Montana someday this summer just for the experience.
