We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Yellowstone. This is an extremely convenient location outside the park. We stayed in the Alpine Two building. The room is immaculately clean, beautiful, and well decorated. It feels like a bed and breakfast, but without the breakfast. There is a really spectacular view out the back. The furniture is nice and cozy.... More

We stayed at The Alpine for a week this summer and have made our reservations to return next summer. The motel is perfect for visiting Yellowstone and the surrounding country. The staff is friendly and helpful as well. Our family stays here every year in recent memory and will continue to do so in the future.

We only stayed one night. The room was large and nice nothing to complain. Only the heater could be closer to the bed area. It is next to the bathroom and the heat has to go through the whole room to reach your bed, which is a little waste of energy at night. Otherwise can highly recommend this place. We... More

We booked this room for three nights well in advance, based on the reviews on TripAdvisor. It is very well kept and attractive, and Robert, the manager, is very helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much, but our room did have some disadvantages. We had a room with one king size bed, fridge and microwave, but it was small. There... More

Thank you so much for your review. FYI we do offer larger rooms such as our standard doubles or double queens. You are correct that our singles are "cozy". Just to clear up the confusion. The property is still "family owned". I stayed on to manage it for the new owners, a couple who live just south of us in... More

We stayed here one night while seeing the West side of Yellowstone. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean, comfortable, and cozy. It has a great location on the North side of town. The town is small enough to walk around and see all the stores. I would certainly stay here again.

Got the last room in the place on Labor Day Monday night, a walk-in at 6 pm. The upstairs suite across the street was fine, much more than I needed, but I think they cut the price because I was alone and it was a little late in the day. The place was fine, being recently constructed in an upstairs... More

Thanks for the review. You must have stayed in our Apartment 6. I like your description. It is true, the older buildings in this town are all crooked with almost nothing lining up straight. I'm not sure what the original builders were doing during construction :). We have tried our best to remodel those rooms and we love that you... More

I stayed here one night with my family on our way to Yellowstone. We loved this cozy, clean motel and this small rustic town! No problems with the wifi working. Hot shower was great! Check in was a breezeI I would recommend and would stay there again!

I had just hiked for 10 hours out of the Sky Top Basin, I had camped for two nights at the northern most Sky Top Lake, so I was pretty tired and beat up. I had attempted to summit Granite Peak. So I had no reservations as I had no idea when I would be out of the wilderness. Most... More

I'm not 100% sure that my review is for "Cooke City Alpine" as the place I'm reviewing is called the Alpine Motel in Cooke City, Montana. (www.cookecityalpine.com) is on the business card and it is run by Gerlie Weinstein 1-888-838-1190. We were able to secure a room here with only a few hours notice while passing through Yellowstone during a... More

We enjoyed our one night stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The young woman who checked us in was very nice and so was the man I talked to on the phone when I made the reservation. If I remember right, I don't think there was shampoo in the room or a blow dryer, so bring your own.... More

Thank you for your review. We pride ourselves on our cleanliness. As per the shampoo and blow dryer, we have these and a lot more things in the office. For others future reference please ask and at check in and they will be provided to you. We find that there is a ridiculous amount of waste if we just put... More
