First impression by adults and kids alike...quaint. Neat nostalgic decor, but updated nicely with modern conveniences. Staff friendly and took care of minor issues promptly. Cheapest hotel of the major chains in the area. No complaints. More

Clean! Clean! Clean! I have stayed here multiple times over the years and the place just gets better a. nd better each time. You can't beat the charm of this place. It's just a classic motel. Rooms have been completely modernized with all new furniture, beds, carpet, flat screen, the works. Parking lot looks like fresh asphalt. I just cant... More

GriswaldTrucksters: First of all, I love the username! It sounds like your traveling experiences (at least so far) have gone a little more smoothly than those of the Griswalds. Thanks so much for the thorough review. Cleanliness, price, and breakfast are usually the top three things people inquire about when booking a reservation, so hopefully a lot of people will... More

This is a historic property, and on the exterior retains much of the charm of a bygone era. On the inside, the rooms have been updated to meet modern standards. Although a tad on the small side, the rooms are well appointed, clean and comfortable. Just what we would expect from Best Western. Best of all the location is a... More

Jon N: Thank you for the amazing rating! Sounds like your stay went well, and I am glad to hear it. Our hotel was built in 1938 and was, at that time, a series of cottages. Like most other motorcourts from that era, many of our cottages had carports built along side them. When we began renovating the property many... More

I stayed here one night on a drive from Chicago to Houston. As a single woman traveling alone, I tend to be very careful choosing my accommodations. This one was absolutely perfect for my purposes. As you drive in, you see that the building is quaint, with fresh paint and a collection of antique signs from years past. My room... More

Karen360: Thank you telling us about your stay. I'm glad you felt safe at our property. That is one question a lot of people have before booking reservations in an unfamiliar place: How safe is it? We have at least one desk clerk on staff 24 hours a day and a private security company that patrols the area every evening... More

For starters: get a room with a jacuzzi -- it is so worth it! I did not have one complaint with my room: it was clean, historic with the 1960s art, spacious (enough), comfortable bed, and the jacuzzi was wonderful after a cold November day. The staff was super friendly and the continental breakfast was good. I will definitely stay... More

Cre8ivegals8282: Thank you for the awesome rating and review. It is a cold November day today as well, and I must admit that a jacuzzi does sound wonderful! I'm happy to hear that your stay went well and that you plan to return. If I may expand on your "helpful hint," I would just like to add that it is... More

Stayed here for just an over night October 14th after along flight. The place is very nice and the whirlepool tub was really great. The room was clean and the staff helpful. You kind of drift off in the 1960's staying there. I know the wife liked the place as she said next time we are in town we will... More

The staff was cheerful and friendly, the room was sparkling clean, the bed was comfortable, and the complementary breakfast was the best we've ever had! Besides the usual cereal, waffles, bagels, coffee, bananas, etc. they also offered egg/cheese/biscuit sandwiches that you could heat in the microwave, yogurt & applesauce in individual containers, and these great mini-cinnamon buns that were the... Stayed for just one night in a double bed room. Adequate space for us. Clean, comfortable room. Old style motel but everything in good shape and modern in room features. Nice selection at the breakfast area and they restocked items promptly. Only problem was with a couple of people, not sure if they were guest or not hanging out in... More

Datman96: I'm sorry that your sleep was disturbed by whoever was chatting in the parking lot. Sometimes other guests can be inconsiderate, but our security usually responds promptly once notified of a noise disturbance. This is rare, but it does happen. I hope the issue was addressed in a timely manner. I am happy that you enjoyed your stay other... More

Arriving exhausted after a 16 hour trip from the UK..reception checked us in speedily..the room was adequate rather than sumptuous..but this was the least expensive hotel we stayed in during our visit. .Continental breakfast offered one of the best choices. two weeks later we stayed again at the end of our vacation..we were immediately remembered ( a nice feeling) .Later...
