We have stayed a several hotels on our trip... even several Motel 6... but this is by the way the worst run motel I have ever encountered! We were given the room next to the managers living quarters. Every time someone came into the office a series of loud chimes would sound... this went on all night long. We got... More

Had the room that was behind the front desk... Their rooms weren't insulated for sound and could hear the door bell throughout the night... It seemed like it was going off several times on the hour like a clock... We told the manager when we checked out that this was the worst overnight on our trip back home from Georgia..... More

This was a typical Motel six. Our room was clean, the bedding was decent... The staff were helpful. Outside appearances are a bit unwelcoming, but we felt safe over night. Close to the free way, gas, shopping and just up the road from Lambert's Cafe, a great place to eat if you are hungry. Down side includes the fact that... More

The Good: Check-in was quick, linens were clean, close to the highway. The Bad: If you like a firm bed this is your place to stay. I was expecting a little give when I sat down on the bed. I was sadly mistaken. There was a lack of plugs in the room. And the ones we could find, by the... More

$30-$60 less than everything else nearby. The guy at counter was very nice and professional. (Bent over backwards to make sure we had a microwave.) The outside is a little worn out and a bit dumpy, but inside was brand new. Carpet, mattress, bedding, fixtures & paint were all fresh. Actually it felt like we might have been the first... More

I was suprised at how this stay at the Motel 6 turned out. It was a shockingly smooth stay. The beds are nice and soft, and the internet was better then other higher priced hotels I stayed at during my trip. The staff was friendly during check in and check out. The TV was small, but as I said, it... More

We arrived at about 1:30am - ready to crash after a long day of driving. The beds were pretty hard and cheap-feeling, and even at that, the mattresses seemed worn (couldn't lay on the edge of the bed, you'd roll off). It was clean, and the water was nice and hot. The Air Conditioner turned the room into an icebox,... More

You get what you pay for. I wanted cheap and clean sleep. That's what I got. The motel is old and tired looking but my room was very clean. The room seemed stuffy on arrival but the A/C unit quickly and quietly remedied that. My only complaint was that the bed was VERY firm.

I've stayed at several Motel 6 locations recently and I was pleasantly surprised to see that their location in Sikeston, MO. was one of their better motels. It's not as big as others, but was conveniently located off of I-55, just two miles north of the junction with I-57. It's actually in Miner, MO, a suburb of Sikeston. A McDonald's... More
