“great hotel, great city”

Arrived in a May blizzard and record low temps (May 2), and we were treated to quite a treat in a Kansas City Institution. The hotel is in the middle of the Power and Light District and certainly has a "feel" like old time Kansas City. The thing that made our hotel stay remarkable was the treatment by the staff.... More

Historic Hilton building and breakfast were the best part of our stay. The remainder of expectations for this Hilton fell incredibly short. 2nd visit to this hotel for business. Spent 3 nights in a Junior Suite. Check in was seamless and front desk was accommodating in offering options. “Hilton President - Power & Light”

This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of power and light. The drum room lounge is awesome with very innovative cocktails. The restaurant Providence has just been renovated and the food is great. If you are looking for a nice hotel within walking distance to all the restaurants and entertainment of Power & Light this is it.

My two days at the Hilton President were wonderful. The valet (Wallace) was very welcoming and so helpful. Check in and out was swift. The location (in The Power and Light District) was perfect for what I wanted to see and do and my corner room on the 10th floor had the most spectaluar views! The cab service was great... More

“Its wedding season”

Great location right next to power & lights district could walk to anything. We stayed their for a wedding, bar was great! Staff super friendly and rooms were really clean and nice. I recommend eating at succotash its about a 15-20 min walk from hotel but well worth it!

“Great place to stay...downtown and close to Sprint Center”

Experience wasn't as good as in the past. 1. Staff not as friendly. 2. No live music as has historically been the case and currently advertised on Web site. 3. Room on 2nd floor near traffic was very loud!

We loved this beautiful historic hotel. The entire staff from the front door and check-in to housekeeping was very friendly and helpful.
