We fell upon this hacienda through a small ad in a travel magazine. The ad was interesting so we decided to try it for a week. We have returned for 2 weeks ever since (at least 6 years). If you want to truly relax, this is the place! The ocean & beach are wonderful, the staff most attentive, every moment... More

It is easy for parents to pick a vacation place at the beach when kids are small. We picked Troncones, and hotel Eden in particular, after our kids were already teenagers. This year was our third trip to Troncones and hopefully not the last one. What make this hotel unique is the beautiful location, right on the best part of... More

So quiet, so relaxing, such awesome people and wonderful food. This is what luxury should be...quiet, relaxing, friendly...not to mention the sounds of the ocean with nothing to disturb you. I really can't describe how special this place is, other then to say I wanted to go back the second that I left. If you want something, the staff will... More

Even if you rent a house you will end up in Eden. Best beach in the area. Great for boogy boards and children. Great staff. Beautiful gift shop. You sleep like a baby hearing the waves. Great sunsets. The only "bad" is no pool speacially if you have kids. More

For a truly wonderful Mexican beach holiday, this is the place. Hidden away from the big cities, it offers a beautiful beach. The rooms are great, the restaurant is one of the best and everyone is very friendly. I would have never gone there except that a relative was returning there for a holiday. What a great find! Take a... More

Although we wernt staying at the hotel, we did come past after the restaurant was recomended by some friends. The food was excellent, nothing too fancy but very well executed and the setting is lovley. The owner came to the table and was very personable and suggested a bottle of wine that was from his region in France.. it was... More

So, we started out at the Inn at Manzanillo Bay just down the beach. You can read my review of them for more, but suffice to say, we knew we needed to move after a couple of days. Fortunately for us, the Jardin del Eden had a suite for us. I completely agree with everyone elses reviews - the staff... More

This coming February will be our 11th consecutive trip to Hacienda Eden. Quite simply, we love it. Great beach, rooms that are "just right", wonderful food and, most importantly a fabulous and helpful staff. It now takes us about 3 minutes to unwind and settle in once we get to Hacienda Eden. Glad we found it. This year will be... More

I've stayed at Eden three times now, for three consecutive Christmases. This small hotel on a beautiful strip of beach was so clearly built with a feel for how to create a community. The rooms are spacious and really attractive in their various representations of Mexican style and handicrafts; the restaurant is delicious; the shop is so fascinating I think... More

Being a person of few words, let me just say that it is aptly named, well appointed, boasts an excellent restaurant and will provide you with the best, most relaxing sun/sand/surf holiday you have yet to experience. We look forward to Eden every year. More
