We live in OKC and travel to NC once a year ago, we always stay at the Magnolia Inn. The staff is great, rooms are clean and nice. We splurged this last time and got the Oriental Suite with a whirlpool bath, that was great! Totally worth it.

Very clean and decent for the price we paid. A little out of the way, but right next to an exit of the Interstate, 20mn from Beale St and the center of Memphis. Service was OK, breakfast was very basic but not too bad. I stayed in a normal room, never saw the special suites (Hawaian, Roman...).

Having been travelling around the world for the last 6 months I have to say this was the noisiest place I have stayed! We stayed in the Roman Suite. The first thing I noticed was the carpet it was stained and gross looking. The faucet on the jacuzzi was hard to get turned off. The bed cover was stained and nasty looking. The whole hotel smelled of cigarettes. Went to look at breakfast and it was not anything I would want to consume.... More
