The staff are friendly and helpful. This hotel is better than many in its price range in the area I go to several places..... My personal favorites are normally the Marriott group but I was very disappointed with the ones here in Jackson. So here I'm and it's been very good.

The hotel was not prepared for a large check-in so the process was slow. Not a huge deal. We picked this location for a soccer tournament due to it's proximity to the Interstate and the fields. This was not the newest facility I've seen, but the rooms were clean and the service was impeccable! The staff really went out of their way to make our stay great!

Stopped in after a drive from New Orleans and it was just what we needed. A cold beer in the lobby was very welcome. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Lots of channels on he tv and hot coffee in he lobby. Great for a road trip.

Over all I very much liked this Hampton. It was close to the interstate but road noise was nonexistent. Breakfast was good; rooms were quite clean and the bed comfortable. This room was outdated and paint was peeling off all the walls of the hotel room. In addition, when you came in the front doors and registered, the elevators were through hallways where you had to pass rooms.

This Hampton is located conveniently off I-55 which runs through Jackson. I generally book Hampton Inn when I travel because I know the good quality of their accommodations. This is an older property and lacked the exceptional experience we've come to expect from Hamptons. There was no fitness room, the hallway to our room smelled strongly of smoke, bed was not up to Hampton par, and my breakfast cereal included a live mealy bug. This property appeared to be managed on a shoestring.
