We spent two nights at the Rivertown Inn and were very impressed with the staff and service. The social hour and gourmet breakfast could not be topped! The staff was friendly and very helpful with giving recommendations of local restaurants and activites in the area. Overall, a very delightful winter weekend in Stillwater Minnesota!

This is a beautifully restored and maintained historic house, with upgrades done so skillfully that they hardly show. It is large, and furnished with antiques. Each room has a literary theme. No flowery wallpaper, potpourri, or creepy dolls anywhere. Lovely happy hour in the afternoon, with wine and antipasta. Wonderful overnight stay for couples!
