Check in and out was well handled, room and premises were clean and well maintained. Room noise was a BIG problem. I could easily hear conversations from the rooms on both sides of me, let alone their television. Difficult to sleep. Television remote only worked part of the time. Water in the shower fluctuated from hot to cold to hot...

We stayed at the Kahler Grand Hotel last week for visit to Mayo Clinic. The proximity to Mayo is excellent. Staying at the Kahler Grand allowed us to leave the hotel minutes before early morning appointments at Mayo, as well as to return to our room and rest between appointments. The hotel's proximity to Mayo really made long days of...

We have stayed at the Kahler many times over the past two years and have not been dissappointed with our stay there. The location is perfect for my husbands appointments at the Mayo Clinic. My husband has a hard time walking so being able to access the clinic via the subway walk area is a plus. It's also great during...

I have stayed at Kahler multiple times, both for professional, personal and medical reasons. The proximity to Mayo Clinic building as well as Mayo library, administrative buildings AND Mayo School of Graduate Medical building helps enormously helpful in the cold weather in Minnesota, to facilitate contact and cuts down on transportation costs.

We stayed at the Kahler last October and had great service, enjoyed the amazing location (connected to Mayo and very close!!!) and had a great time at the pool.
The hotel rooms are OLD. The beds are about the only thing that has been updated in the past 40 years. Don't get an economy room unless you are a single...

I stayed at the Kahler Grand recently for a conference. At the conference rate, I was booked into one of their "older" rooms with a King-size bed. The bed was quite comfortable with immaculate linens and pillows. The bathroom left much to be desired with poor lighting and tiles from floor to ceiling. The room was a bit closed-in, since...

We had a great time for new years. This hotel has a lot of history and is downtown, next to several night spots to go for a cocktail. We walked around downtown and didn't have to worry about driving for new years. The room was great and roof top enclosed pool and hot tub was excellent!

This hotel has character. It is dated, but it is well taken care of. The lobby and some other areas are very pretty. The fitness area and pool is great! The water temperature was perfect and the dome over the pool is really nice. Our room could use a facelift...very 70's. The underground connection to the Mayo Clinic and all...

This place is in a great location. You can get to everything by tunnel or skyway from here. Right next door to Mayo Clinic if that is the nature of your stay. Great restraunts and shops very close by. The hotel is old but that adds character, the hallways look old, the rooms look brand new. The rooms were very...
