I stay here every time I am in Rochester, which is a couple times every year. Love the beds, staff, etc. More

This is a very nice Marriott. It is extremely convenient to the Mayo facilities and hospitals. You are totally connected by the underground subways and only minutes from your doctor's office. However, they capitalize on this convenience with a very high, rarely discounted nightly rate. They are generally $75 pr night higher. More

This motel went above and beyond as with most Marriotts. Great, did I say GREAT room. Clean, spacious, modern...ideal room. Resturant and bar on site plus the ped mall and Mayo are right outside the door. The downfalls are they have no parking. You have to park at a city lot. Valet can do this for you but when the... I was at Mayo Clinic on business and was booked into the Marriot. I expected the usual generic experience. Maybe because the Mayo area hotels are used to doing international business with visitors and patients to this works renowned institution, the service was over and above from check in to check out. The receptionist thought hard about getting me a... More

stayed here for a four three day conference. Hotel has been updated and bar area is very nice for visiting and relaxing. Bed was great except the sheets didn't stay on. Quiet rooms. More

We stayed at the Rochester Marriott that was in the subway of the Mayo Clinic for a week in June, 2011. We stayed there because I needed a week of testing at their autonomic lab, and the Rochester Marriott was in the underground subway system of the Mayo Clinic, so it made it VERY convenient to walk to and from... We stayed here because we're Marriott Rewards members. Being Rewards members, we've stayed at lots of Marriott's throughout the US. This has to be our worst Marriott ever. Why? It's the bed. Other than the bed, it's a typical Marriott. Nothing special and geared towards either business or, in this case, Mayo Clinic visitors. I think a visit to Mayo... More

The main strength of this hotel is its proximity to the Mayo Clinic. The hotel is directly connected the the clinic, a 5 minute walk, a great advantage in the winter. Overall, the hotel has a somewhat dated and bland appearance, a facelift of the lobby area and rooms would make the place more attractive. The rooms are reasonably spacious,... More

My husband and I go up to the Mayo 4-6 times a year and have stayed many of places in town. This was our first at the Marriott at Mayo. The location is awesome if you are a visitor to the Mayo, since it is connected onto the subway walkway. The room was nice sized, not huge but larger than... More

In my opinion, the Marriott in Rochester is the upscale hotel of choice when you can afford the best while you are visiting Mayo Clinic. Better yet, choose to pay $30 more per night or so and take a room on the concierge floor with a comfortable lounge for a full breakfast and a glass of wine and snacks in... More
