I love the vintage upnorth feel of this place (with updated amenities). I spent a rainy night there, but still was enchanted by the lake view. The windows open to let in the sounds of the loons.The room was very comfortable and quiet. Beautiful boating, walking and biking is right out side the door. I would stay there again.

Food was good but cold. Service was very slow. Portions were small and over priced. We made reservations and were switched to a differant dinning area. We were told the service was slow because a large party was ahead of us.

Short version...I have had extended family stay here over the years and return; that said, we were taken so off guard by the horrible experience we had here we wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
