We had 3 nights here in early July with a friend. We swapped rooms with her as the stairs to the Hummingbird room aren't too easy for less mobile people. We shared a bathroom- also not a problem. Breakfasts were really excellent and I would happily stay here again. Helen V.

I made arrangements for out of town guests to stay in the cardinal suite and I joined them each morning for breakfast. The proprietors are friendly and welcoming, know the town well, and made excellent suggestions for places to go for dinner. My guests said the room was comfortable and I know the breakfasts were delicious.

This is a beautiful home built in the 1850's. Our family of 7 stayed in Excelsior for a family memorial. The B&B was near the lake, easy walking distance.
