This hotel is not a resort the hotel is very old and dated the beds are very uncomfortable. The bathrooms are very old. The only good part is the beach, but hey your on Grand Traverse Bay how can it be bad. The hotel is very pricey so clearly you are paying for the view.

Great location on nice sandy beach. You can carry your continental breakfast outside and eat at picnic tables. Located right on the beach! They provide chairs, tables and loungers in the yard area between the hotel and the beach and chairs for use on the beach as well. There are BBQs available and a small continental breakfast is offered. We enjoyed two nights here and the staff were extremely helpful
