This is my second stay here. Great view from room. Personal patio off room. Green spacious area with ample seating. Clean beautiful sandy beach. Two doors down from parasailing. Nice to watch. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is filling.

This hotel is not a resort the hotel is very old and dated the beds are very uncomfortable. The bathrooms are very old. The only good part is the beach, but hey your on Grand Traverse Bay how can it be bad. The hotel is very pricey so clearly you are paying for the view.

I would have to agree with some of the reviews that this is not a "full service" resort. However, if you go by the definition of a resort, that you wouldn't have to leave the place for your entire vacation, I can pretty much vouch for that it is a resort. I am a not fussy type traveler. I like... More

Our room was small, not well maintained and way over priced. The vertical blinds would barely close, the shower wall was coming apart and the a/c was very loud. The towels and sheets were rough. Housekeeping didn't bother to take out the trash, or the used washclothes, didn't sweep the floor and didn't replace the plastic cups or the ice... More

This is basically a hotel on the beach and that is all...There are some cool things, like the location, the beach and patios right outside the room looking over the water, but I would not in any way call this a resort. There is no bar, no restaurant, no pool so I wonder where the resort is?? They charged a... More

If you and your extended family want to hang out together on the beach, play cards, and watch the toddlers play -- the Beach Haus is for you. As a couple, however, we were not as enchanted as others. The rooms are definitely dated altho clean; the A/C sounded like a B52. And, if the family reunion out on the... More

Great location on nice sandy beach. You can carry your continental breakfast outside and eat at picnic tables. The property is a little dated but service was friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and there is free wi-fi. Only minor complaint is that it would have been nice to have some fresh fruit for breakfast like bananas or apples. We... More

Located right on the beach! They provide chairs, tables and loungers in the yard area between the hotel and the beach and chairs for use on the beach as well. There are BBQs available and a small continental breakfast is offered. We enjoyed two nights here and the staff were extremely helpful

Spent 2 nights in June. June 18th and 19th. Right on the beach. Our room had a patio with chairs and tables. Water was "cold" for us Michiganders in June, but what a beautiful view. Of course kids were in the water. Very relaxing property. Great location just outside of Traverse City. It is an older hotel. Air Condition is... More
