This is our second year we rent a gîte at the chateau. The settin is impressive, the decor of the houses is very welldone and there is everything youmay need. The park is full of peackocks, hens and chickens, a real pleasure for the kids. Owners are always there but not intrusive.

Amazing Chateau near Valognes, Normandy. Words can't describe well enough how beautiful this place is. The owners were very friendly and helpful (although only the lady, Annick speaks English). As a family (with two children under seven) we had the whole top floor (3 bedrooms) to ourselves. The period detail was amazing (especially the tiled floors) and loads of space for the girls. Only downside were the fairly short single beds. Home-made jam,collecting peacock feathers and tour of house before departure all added up to a really unique stay.

We wanted to visit the d-day beaches. This looked to be a little farther than we wanted to be from them, but my wife was intrigued. This turned out to be a terrific experience. We can not recommend this highly enough. Our hosts were great people. We will be sure to visit again if we can.
