Wonderful calm atmosphere, beautiful rooms, good breakfast in superb conservatory, resident owner / manager certainly knows what she is doing. Great for Mont St Michel (needs renaming as "Mt St Michel Disney" ) we used La Ramade as a stopover for our journey from Calais to Quimper (Brittany) & will definitely return again soon.

Small hotel just outside of Avranches and only 20 minutes from Mt St Michel. Great place to stay so that you can get to MSM before the crowds. We had a lovely large and tastefully decorated room. This a beautiful boutique hotel with a very friendly hands-on owner. This remodeled classic home has a beautiful glassed in porch for breakfast. Our room was spacious and well appointed. We were directed to a terrific local restaurant. A great hotel experience.

Spent a single night here in December with my wife. Nice sized room with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. No coffee making facilities in the room. Location itself requires a car, and it's a short drive to Avranches. Very friendly staff who spoke good English.

Two nights at this comfortable residence . . . large comfortable room and bathroom, friendly service and great breakfast. All at a most reasonable price. We were well-positioned so as to visit Le Mont St. Michel first thing in the day. Highly recommended.

This hotel was more like a guesthouse or B&B. Everything - the rooms (though no air conditioning), the grounds and gardens, the decor, the breakfast, the staff were just wonderful. A great place to stay to explore Avranches, the D Day beaches and Mont St. Michele.
