This is a family-owned hotel. Our room was nicely appointed, but very small. The internet did not work properly and the restaurant was closed. Felt our room was too expensive for what was provided. It is also in a remote area.

Got to this lovely place after a long day of part of a walking tour. Booked through our walking tour company. Way out in the lovely countryside. Our room was upstairs and had lovely wooden beams in the ceiling. Modern bathroom. Beautiful pool area was very relaxing after our trek through the countryside. Our dinner was served on the patio... Probably shouldn't be writing a review of this hotel as I would like to have kept it to myself! Set in the middle of the most idyllic Dordogne countryside is this wonderful old inn. Beautifully restored and set amongst open countryside it has a pool, outside dining terrace and plenty of parking. Our room was in the roof space and... More

WE stayed at La Ferme Lamy for 5 nights in April, 2012. The only really positive thing to be said about it is that it is located in the French countryside, in a lovely, quiet area of France. But that's where the good news ends. When we arrived, we were not offered help with our luggage (which we would have... More

Dear client, We are very surprised by this negative view of our establishment which is not justified. We have, always welcomed you with great courtesy during your stay. The rooms, the sheets and blankets are regularly checked and cleaned by our maids. We disagree, of course, your opinion when you announce that the blanket was very dirty. Regularly, we provide... My wife and I just spent 3 nights at la Ferme Lamy. It's an amazing place, set in beautiful and ever so quiet surroundings. They are part of the 'Relais du Silence" network which highlights their credentials so perfect place to relax, enjoy the countryside location and take all the amazing views in. We got welcome by their friendly dog... More

This small family hotel was a stop on a hiking holiday through the Dordogne region. We arrived thoroughly drenched after a rainstorm, and the owner was very welcoming, bringing us hot tea to help us warm up. The room was charming, with a loft for our teenage son, so that we were not tripping over our baggage all night. The... More

My husband and I stayed one night on our drive through Limousin and Auvergne. The building is nicely restored but the room was very small in a complex that reminded me of 1960s motels - adjoining rooms in straight lines. The infinity pool is interesting as it appears to flow into the connecting agricultural fields. Breakfast was adequate but not... More

Stayed here for 5 nights as part of a 3 trip cross France family trip. The hotel is a small family run affair with the owners on site and is set on its own with no passing traffic. We had one of the two "Romantic" rooms situated in the main building. This comfortably held the 3 of us (one teenager)... More

I booked this so-called hotel, because it supposedly accepts pets. Its entry in the Relais du Silence Guide DOES NOT say that pets are excluded from the restaurant. When I enquired, I specifically stressed that it was very important to us that the dogs be allowed in the restaurant. The reply stated that small and medium sized dogs were allowed... More

We are surprised at your review of our hotel which is the result of a misunderstanding that should have been resolved during your stay and not a few weeks later after your departure. We must, therefore, answer to your critics which are not justified. Indeed, we accept and welcome well educated dogs at our establishment. However we have some restrictions... More

My wife and I just spent five nights her and loved it. Michel and Josiane were warm and welcoming hosts. She is a fabulous cook. He is gracious and speaks fine English, which is helpful. He was very knowledgeable about the local tourist sites and had good recommendations. Booked us a hot air ballon ride for our first morning. When... More
