We stayed at the Mariposa while in Leon. It was perfect. The rooms were large and we loved the out door shower. The beds were comfortable. There is a lovely pool in the courtyard. It is quiet, reasonably priced, and the meals that we ate were wonderful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at Hostal Mariposa for 3 nights. We originally planned to stay for only 1 but the conditions were too great to pass up (hosts, pool, luxurious cabana with outdoor private rainshower, price, etc...) A lovely, calm and cool spot in León. We loved staying in the bungalows and having a swim in the very clear pool. It is a little bit difficult to find, but they put excellent Mariposa signs on the road. You will not miss it.
