staff were reasonable, but had to be standing for 30 or so min to check in. didn't seem to be much attentive toward guest. Stayed for two days on a trip to Grand Rapids are in October 2011. Hotel staff very friendly and rooms clean and well equipped. Only complaint was breakfast. Beware. Though you may have a confirmed reservation 3-4 weeks in advance, they will bump you out if someone else that is staying there wants extra nights. We were attending a wedding and they kindly let us check in early and the suite was large, but overall the place seems dated compared with say the Hilton Garden Inns we use. Better if yo stay weekdays as they feed you in evening. More
