My husband and I needed a relaxing getaway and Boyden House hit the spot. Our room was clean, comfortable and the house itself was very cool and well maintained. Our bed was so comfy, the location was close to downtown Grand Haven, and the breakfast was so delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will be back :)

We recently stayed at Boyden house and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the executive suite which had seating areas, a comfy bed, and plentiful sunshine. Great beds - comfortable with great quality bedding. Great breakfast - as noted elsewhere, appreciated the quality of the coffee, and the meals have always been really tasty in the 4 times I've stayed here over the years. Our group of four had the rooms over the garage and were not within the house itself. It was a short walk across the driveway to the house for breakfast in the morning. We loved our night in the Boyden House, which I found tasteful and very comfortable. It's located very near downtown and is within walking distance of the beach. The owners were very friendly (but not overly so) and the breakfast was wonderful. The house itself is beautiful.

We had an 'off-season' deal ($102/night incl. tax) which was good value for money. The house is great and the rooms are nice, with comfortable beds and a lot of space. Beautiful old home, with fantastic architectural details. Lovely porch and gardens. Our room was the "sunroom" with a comfortable queen bed. There was a window air conditioner in our bedroom and central air for the bathroom and sitting area. Not sure why.
