I have been a camper at Walnut Hills for almost 15 years. It is a great campground with some major problems. The biggest being the electrical, often on hot days the electric goes out on sites on the hills in the back but while showering, in the only bathrooms in the campground, the electric is not grounded correctly and you... “Fun place”

There is a lot to do at Walnut Hill, including many activities, swimming, tubing, boating and so on. This park is good fun for the whole family. This is a better park than the state campgrounds because they add a lot of personal touch to it.

This campground is not too bad. It is extremely hilly, and the whole campground only has one modern bathroom with showers. The swimming area is basically just a little pond but the kids had fun although there were areas that were a little mucky. Each site does have it's own water and electric so that is a plus.
