“Comfortable, convenient, better detail cleaning would help”

Attending a conference at the Sturbridge Host next door, this motel is very convenient, reasonably priced, and the beds were comfortable. Price/value is very good. Cleaning at floor level is fine, but doors, handles, and especially light switches were uncomfortably dirty. Traveling on my own, I would return; with my wife, this would not be acceptable.

Thank you for staying with us in Sturbridge and for your review. You are absolutely correct about missing the detail cleaning of the guestroom. This would gross me out as well and there isn't any excuse in the world why these items weren't cleaned. The room was fine. We were around back right in front of the pool and could see the lake. The continental breakfast was better than most. I don`t often stay at Super 8 motels, but this is a convenient location(near restaurants and Sturbridge Village) and close to I-84 and the Mass. Turnpike. Room was clean and parking is right outside the door.

“The room was very clean! One of the lights would not go...”

The room was very clean! One of the lights would not go on. We discovered it was unplugged. The remote would not work for the tv, and the tv shut itself off!

Thank you for commenting on our motel. I am sorry about the unplugged lamp. After vacuuming, housekeeping forgot to plug it back in. Sounds like your tv/remote needed to be re-programmed and I apologize this happened duriing your visit with us. More
