Just re-visited the 'Verve' Crowne Plaza a year later: still great rooms, hospitality and friendliness. But found their lobby bar/restaurant the Violet Thorn a pretty thorny experience. Arrived too late to find food elsewhere, I wouldn't have thought food was available from the pounding music coming out of this lobby lounge. Service was slow for a single person sitting alone.... More
