This was our first trip to Martha's Vineyard, and it was absolute perfection. We spent 3 nights in the Driftwood Cottage at Menemsha Inn in early October 2012. There are many smaller villages on the island, each with its own flavor -- some abound with farmland, others lined with charming little shops -- and Menemsha was a perfect launching point... More

Immaculately kept gardens with friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in room 51 of the Tea House, a ground floor, large room with a wide terrace. Good beds and plenty of wardrobe space. We only spent two nights and wished we had been able to stay longer to re-charge our batteries. Such beautiful countryside. Breakfast takes place on the first... More

A lovely part of the world, we only had one night here but wished we could stay longer, the rooms are large, with a veranda and view over the bay. Only issue was that we did not know it was a "dry" area. So BYO wine! The lobsters from the local fish markets are amazing.

We stayed in the "Mainstay " suite above the reception area. We had a great week there. It was very spacious, and bright. Nice to have the two bathrooms, and the kitchen area. You could see the ocean from the balcony that comes off the master bedroom. The living room furniture could do with an update. Nice central and bright... More

I agree with the previous reviewer, the facilities did not meet my expectations. We stayed in room 1 of the Carriage House, the room had a beautiful view, a private deck, king bed, seating area and a small fridge. A wedding was taking place at the Beach Plum the following day and it many of the guests were socializing in... More

If I had a chance to spend the weekend anywhere in the world, I would spend it at the Menemsha Inn, in the Sandpiper cottage. My girlfriend and I stayed at the Sandpiper cottage with our two little dogs. And it was the most wonderful two days I've spent anywhere in my life. The property is comprised of a big... More

This was a terrific place for me, my husband and our two sons (ages 12 and 15). We rented a one bedroom cottage which had a pull out sofa. Since my boys don't sleep well together they were kind enough to bring us a cot. It worked out beautifully. The cottage was clean, charming and had a full kitchen. The... More

This is a very nice property. The grounds were immaculate. Our room was very clean and had a gorgeous ocean view. Our dear friends had their wedding here and our only complaint was that the staff was completely overwhelmed. We did book the entire inn for the wedding party and guests, they were not fully prepared with food and drink.... More
