It's hard to find a hotel/motel in Chatham for one night during the summer rush but the Chatham Seafarer offered a decent room fairly close to town center. Overpriced, worn-down, unresponsive manager, close-to-highway. Chatham Seafarer is marked by scuffed and chipped paint, obsolete equipment, small rooms, inadequate bathroom shelves and hooks, tattered towels, torn wash cloths, inoperative exterior lamps and missing downspouts spouting rainwater randomly. The website pictures are deceiving and the feigned charm of the manager does not make up for short-comings. More
